Plain Diphenhydramine ONLY: Check active ingredients! Never use Benadryl products containing Acetaminophen, Pseudoephedrine, Phenylephrine, or Decongestants (Lethal to dogs).

Check for Xylitol / Birch Sugar: Avoid liquid medications containing artificial sweeteners like Xylitol, which cause rapid liver failure in canines.

Severe Anaphylaxis / Emergency: If your dog has facial swelling, hives around eyes/throat, difficulty breathing, or pale gums, rush to the emergency vet immediately.

Contraindications: Consult your vet first if your dog has glaucoma, high blood pressure, urinary obstruction, or cardiovascular disease.
